THE SPIDERS - Don’t Blow Your Mind (1966)

In 1964 three buddies (Vincent Furnier, Dennis Dunnaway and John Speer) on the track team at Cortez High School in Phoenix, Arizona decided to parody the Beatles in the school talent show and called themselves The Earwigs. Later they go more serious and changed their name to The Spiders and added Michael Bruce on rhythm guitar, then cut this garagepunk classic. At the end of 1967 they added Neil Smith on drums, started calling themselves The Nazz and moved to L.A.

After a few months both Vince and the band changed their names to ALICE COOPER.
